You're J, right? I could tell from the facebook pictures ~A

    Weddings. Ugh
Its actually not as bad as I thought.
Yes, initially I was alone.. only knew the immediate family (which were busy with wedding stuff).. until I met the gf's church friends. Super nice and funny people.  I actually invited them.. nearly total strangers over.. to play games (Left for Dead and Rayman on Wii). I guess.. close friends of the gf, should be close friends to me. so  :)

Yes there were photos.. still super-self conscious.. but whatever.. I wasn't part of the wedding party so i didn't need to do special/more ones.

Dressing up.. I look snazzy, i guess.. lol I'll post a pic later. Hopefully my new friends will have some nice ones posted on FB instead of the one with me and my sister. My bum felt tight in my pants... just thought you'd like to know and fantasize about.

Dancing... I guess if you're with friends.. its ok. Even if its not the music of your time (the Twist???). Or that you might never see those people again.. or.. who cares what others think of you. They're envious that they have the nerve to go up and dance. The groom's friends all were doing the macarena together.. and YMCA with the pointing part.

Special touches I liked in the wedding:
    - no special 'groom' or 'bride' side at the church.. just sit wherever
    - there was only contemporary wedding songs played at mass (VERY unique).. but at the end everyone was getting into the songs
    - on everyone's plate there were origami and paper so guests can do that while talking to keep themselves amused
    - instead of tapping glasses to get the married couple to kiss, people had to say special stories (granted there were not too many, nor too embarrasing)

    And I bored you.
    Lol
Lets talk about food! (sorry no pics.. tight pants don't allow it)

Appetizers: Fried strips of zuccini, fried mushrooms, a basket of fruits

Entree: buffet style: fried rice, chow mein (i think thats what it was), salmon, butter chicken, macaroni salad, steamed veggies, salad
-- i loved this. I was kinda expecting the usual baby carrots, cauliflower, some weird salad for appetizers, then entree of either the usual chicken or veal

Dessert: assortment of fruit, cheesecakes, coffee tasting cakes

And open bar.. must... get.. a ride.. somehow next time ;)

Anyways; all in all, once again I stress, when it turned out to be a pretty good time :)
